Creating Cambridge Big Summer BBQ aims to raise money for homeless charity

Don't miss the opportunity to meet like-minded people from a diverse range of businesses at Creating Cambridge's popular BIG Summer BBQ , which takes place next Friday (19 July) - and help homeless young people in the process.

The selected charity for this event is ‘Railway House – Supporting 16-25 years old at risk of homelessness in Cambridge’.  Railway House is one of many projects run by the CHS Group.

Kristina Cairns, fundraising manager, said: "CHS Group are delighted that the team at Creating Cambridge has chosen our young people’s service, Railway House in Cambridge, as their charity for this year’s Big Summer BBQ.  Any money donated will go a long way to support our residents who are 16-25 years old and who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness."

All members of Cambridge Network who buy tickets via the link below will contribute15% of the net sales price to the charity.

Previous events attracted hundreds of attendees from technology, creative, biotech, life sciences and various SME businesses across Cambridgeshire, all of whom enjoyed the chance to socialise, relax, network and have fun. Come along - you never know who you might meet!

This year the organisers are working hard to make it even bigger and better and sponsorship packages are available on request. If your company would like to partner in this project, please email Rich Wainwright for details.
