CRedit360 accompanies launch of new IR Technology Initiative as a charter member

The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) has launched a new initiative to strengthen the development of corporate reporting and the application of technology in the global adoption of integrated reporting. It has selected CRedit360 as the only charter member from the sustainability management software sector.

Integrated reporting results in a periodic report that is a concise communication about how an organisation’s strategy, governance, performance and prospects lead to the creation of value in the context of its external environment. The aim of the Technology Initiative is to build and promote an understanding of how technology can be applied to facilitate integrated reporting on both sides of the report production and the value chain.

As a leading provider of sustainability management software, credit360 is supporting the initiative in evaluating how technology is currently used to improve corporate reporting, related management processes, and will also be able to help companies adopt integrated thinking. credit360’s sustainability management software enables companies to manage ESG reporting needs with a specialist Corporate Reporter solution.

“credit360 is proud to be a charter member of the  Technology Initiative. As a leading provider of sustainability management software, it is important to be involved with a major trend in corporate reporting” says Efrain Quiros, VP Partnerships & Operations of credit360. “It is vital for our customers that we provide the tools they need to meet their current and future reporting needs. Collaborating within the Technology Initiative allows us to help progress integrated thinking and to enhance how companies utilize technology to improve overall value creation.”

credit360 will collaborate within the Technology Initiative – with companies such as Deloitte and PwC – to review needs and evaluate best practices in reporting and management practice, share experiences and lead market innovation in areas including business software, reporting software, sustainability software, consultancy services and systems integration. The European Commission supports the initiative as an observer and it is expected that other regulators and policy-makers will engage with the programme as it progresses.

“We are extremely pleased that credit360 has joined the initiative to become frontrunners in the field of integrated reporting. Leading companies around the world are already adopting in their organizations, and there is a crucial role for technology companies to play in helping to make this happen” says Paul Druckman, CEO, IIRC. “Through this initiative, technology companies will learn of the challenges and problems faced by organizations practicing next generation reporting, so that tools and technologies can be applied to make corporate reporting faster, more efficient, more accurate and better integrated into business processes.”
