Based in Watford, The 24-7 Group has a strong and growing client base in recruitment and resourcing across the logistics sector. Also part of the group are online marketing, admin/finance outsourcing and front line training businesses.
Croft Management Centre specialises in delivering CMI, ILM and BTEC Diploma and Certificate in Management and Leadership qualifications from front line to senior management levels with clients including a range of London Local Authorities, NHS Organisations and the General Medical Council.
All current Croft Centre facilitators and assessors will remain with the business continuing to deliver on current and planned customer commitments. The current core staff team of Mandy Underwood, Ola Steadman and Ann Jameson will remain in their management, NHS business development and administration roles. Croft Centre will continue to operate from its current base in Ringwood as normal, with additional admin and finance support from Watford. Former directors Jeremy Hamilton and Chris Croft are staying with the business on a consultancy basis.
24-7 is looking to expand the Croft Management Centre business by investing in sales and marketing and have already appointed Peter Collins with responsibility for growing the combined training and development capability of The 24-7 Group.
A major growth opportunity lies in introducing accredited management and leadership development to 24-7’s existing customer base. A further opportunity lies in expanding the scope and scale of 24-7’s blue collar training operations through adding CMI, ILM and BTEC accreditation to programmes in team leading, communications and customer service.
The combined training business will have a staff of 7 and a turnover of around £1m, delivering around 400 training days per annum.
Chris Croft, partner at Croft Management Centre, comments: “We are proud of a successful and innovative 10 year record in accredited leadership and management development, but recognise that the future needs economies of scale that are difficult for us to achieve on our own. Becoming part of THe 24-7 Group is an ideal opportunity to achieve greater reach and to invest in pushing the business forwards as we start our next decade”.
Rhys Penny, MD of The 24-7 Group states: “As the country moves out of recession, businesses are realising they need to put right several years of minimal investment in people development if they are to retain their leading performers and remain competitive. The quality and scope of what Croft Centre delivers is at the highest level and will bring a whole new dimension to the services we can offer our clients”.
