Crowdfunding campaign offers tea at the Ritz with Cambridge inventor of 'handSteady' cup

CrowdFundMe2 has launched an IndieGoGo UK crowdfunding campaign for the 'handSteady' cup for wrist weakness, tremor, Parkinson's, MnD, MS, the elderly and stroke sufferers.

Through crowdfunding I aim to place a much larger order with the factory and bring the unit price down from £40 to £15.
- Chris Peacock, inventor

Cambridge inventor Chris Peacock was so impassioned at a relative's Parkinson's diagnosis that he left his job to study a Masters degree in design and engineering, where he developed the amazing handSteady cup with support from the Guys & St Thomas' Charity and the Dyson Foundation.

The handSteady cup helps the elderly and sufferers of tremor, Parkinson's, MS, MnD, Arthritis, wrist weakness and stroke enjoy a hot cuppa in safety and with dignity. Following rave national and international reviews Chris is now crowdfunding handSteady, supported by Cambridge based CrowdFundMe2, with one simple objective:

"Through crowdfunding I aim to place a much larger order with the factory and bring the unit price down from £40 to £15," he says.

In fact, supporters of the campaign on crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy handSteady at the new lower price of £15 or select from other interesting and novel rewards, including cup donations to your favourite charity and tea at the Ritz with the inventor and their handSteady cup!

After the campaign, Chris hopes to launch further colours, logo options and have a big export push from Cambridge.
