"I am delighted to become patron of e-Luminate. I love the festival and seeing our city's iconic buildings transformed by innovative and fun light displays. e-Luminate lights up the best of Cambridge highlighting our rich history, our passion for arts and culture and our ground breaking technology and research." says Daniel.
The Festival is gearing up for the 4th annual cycle. It will take place between 12th and 17th February 2016, at sites across Cambridge city centre. Highlights this coming season include a night Arts and Crafts Market for the launch evening on the 12th, an interactive installation at the Fitzwilliam Museum and a stunning light show projected on to Senate House. As usual the organisers hope the public will enjoy all the light art installations and, where interactive, join in.
e-Luminate Cambridge is thrilled, with the generous support of its corporate sponsors but otherwise on an entirely volunteer basis, to be able again to bring this mesmerising spectacle to Cambridge, with light art installations enhancing the richness and diversity of the City's urban landscape.
As Mr Zeichner says:"e-Luminate is actively doing something to improve the night economy and the tourism in the city at this quiet time of the year ".
There is still time for other businesses to lend support and thereby benefit from this unique event in our city. Sponsors already committed this year include TTP, Marshall, Lumie, and Barr Ellison.
