Featurespace's ARIC™ platform protects banks and payment processors. Clients include Atlanta-based WorldPay and Columbus, Ga.-based TSYS. WorldPay co-invested in a $21.6 million investmentin Featurespace in October. Other investors include Highland Europe, Invoke Capital and Atlanta-based TTV Capital.
“We’ve been supporting (North American) clients remotely from the UK,” Excell said. “But, we are seeing that there’s so much opportunity for us in the US in terms of our product. That’s why we’ve chosen Atlanta to be our base.”
Featurespace plans to triple its Atlanta workforce in the next 12 months.
