Cambridge Network members are invited to submit proposals for the School's  Management of Technology and Innovation (MoTI) Project.

The University of Cambridge Judge Business School is ranked among the world’s leading business schools.  As well as a global focus, the School’s location at the heart of this thriving community of local entrepreneurs and innovators offers a unique opportunity for it to work with the local business community.

The MoTI project offers the opportunity for businesses to access the talents of Cambridge University MPhil students from a range of disciplines while enabling its students to gain first-hand experience of some of the challenges faced by companies.

The project takes place during Lent term, and runs from Wednesday, 18th January – Friday, 3rd March 2017, with presentations held between Monday, 6th March and Friday, 17th March 2017.

It is a part-time, hands-on engagement based on between four and six students working as a team of consultants to a real organisation, under the guidance of a University supervisor.  While students gain valuable consultancy experience, clients benefit from an international team of bright motivated and committed students focusing on an issue that they might not otherwise have had the time or resources to tackle.

Proposals are welcomed from all types of organisations - from entrepreneurial Cambridge-based technology start-ups to major corporations.

There is no fee for the work but the client is expected to meet expenses associated with the project, which are rarely more than a few hundred pounds.  Students will not incur expenses without prior approval from their client.

For full project details and a proposal form, please contact Ms Juliet Wilson, Cambridge Judge Business School:  [email protected] or telephone 01223 760521.  Details can also be found on the MoTI Projects webpage:

The proposal submission deadline for the MoTI Project 2017 is Monday, 14th November 2016.
