On Wed 28th Feb, we welcome Daniel Jones. Dan will be talking about data transfer over an audio link. There will be a hands-on workshop where we use Python to send messages between devices, so please bring a Linux or Mac laptop if you can.

In March, we have two meetups, both previews of talks for the ACCU 2018 conference.
The first is on Wed 14th March we welcome Rosemary Francis. Rosemary will share her high-performance computing expertise and I/O profiling for large data sets. We will explore best practices, from selecting the best tools to adopting good coding & working habits.
The following week, Wed 21st March, we welcome Jonathan Pallant. Jonathan is the curator of the Cambridge Rust Meetup and has used Rust in production for many years. The talk will focus on message-passing architectures, with a look at a Rust implementation and how it compares to C.
