ECM Cambridge student prize 2015 is awarded

Cambridge-based ECM, the UK's high-tech recruitment experts in finding top jobs for high-flying, high-tech candidates, congratulates Yong Kiam Tan of Robinson College on winning the ECM Cambridge Student Prize 2015 for the most outstanding Computer Science student in Part II (the third year) of the course.

ecm is proud to have been granted the privilege of offering an annual prize to the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, the academic department within the University that encompasses Computer Science, along with many aspects of Engineering, Technology and Mathematics.

Commenting on the prize, Martin Constantinides, Director, says “The ecm prize was established back in 2009. We are very pleased about our continuing association with the University. Over the years, we have helped many bright graduates – from Cambridge and other top universities – to find jobs in the high-technology sector. We are delighted to award the 2015 ecm prize to Yong Kiam and wish him all the very best for the future”.

The working relationship between ecm and the Laboratory has been established over a number of years, and is based upon mutual respect for the standards each achieves. ecm is one of a small group of trusted organisations known as the Supporters Club to the Computer Laboratory. In recent years ecm has had a regular presence at the Laboratory’s annual recruitment day and has sponsored Supporters Club events, and looks forward to continuing to support the Laboratory and its students.
