Cambridge TV is running a one day masterclass in video editing for beginners and improvers. Each person will have their own editing station so bring your project, and get some help!
If you're a beginner, you will:
- Explore the different editing softwares
- Learn the different functions
- Identify usable footage
- Create a package using interviews, actuality b-roll, cut aways, music, voice over narrative
- Learn about basic audio editing
- Create a 'radio edit'.
If you've done some editing already, we can offer more advanced steps such as:
- When to cut a shot
- Editing multi-camera setups such as interviews or events
- Audio editing - equalization, noise reduction, etc.
- Colour correction or colour grading
- Time lapses and how to create different effects
- How to correctly clean a rough final cut of your project
- Manipulating your footage such as digital stabilisation, creating effective slow motion clips.
