The training day is part of “The Scale of the Problem”, a one year project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Emerald Frog Marketing embarked upon a market research project with Froglife to evaluate how people perceive amphibians and reptiles and the extent of their potential image problem (when compared with animals that are seen as more appealing or cute). The project has helped develop different ways of talking about the animals to encourage more people to care about frogs, toads, newts, snakes and lizards to ultimately increase the Froglife membership base.The day included the market research findings and key trends, perceptions and image research, group workshops and discussions to gain insight into the issues, shape messaging and create future campaign ideas.
