This month, which combines announcements from October and November, brings news of improvements for chemical searchers who use Patbase and STN, new semantic search options in Patbase, new scoring and family clustering from Ambercite, a beta test version of an artificial-intelligence aided Patent Translate on WIPO’s Patentscope database, whilst the EPO announced forthcoming full text patents in espacenet.
News from the IP offices included the announcement that the UK will ratify the Agreement on the Unitary Patent Court, which has been in doubt since the June ‘Brexit’ vote, and news on the TM5 (trademark) and ID5 (design right) cooperation meetings .

The blog follows the major and emerging commercial patent information, search and software services companies, and also includes other information search and research news as identified through the news-tracker and which I find interesting.
