Facilities Management Legal Update – what to expect

FMLU is the essential one-day event for facilities managers, taking place in central London at the Workplace Law Executive Centre, on Wednesday, 24 April 2013. Presented by Workplace Law’s expert speakers – tackling key issues faced by FMs – all in one day.

Head of Health and Safety at Workplace Law, Simon Toseland, introduces a short video in which conference speakers share highlights of what they will present at the one-day conference, supplying facilities managers with ‘everything they should know’.

Simon himself will present on the day, touching upon changing legislation concerning Corporate Manslaughter, the Loftstedt report and key Construction (Design Management) Regulations revisions.

Head of Environment, Peter Watts, reveals he will explain what the Green Deal means for businesses, the continued implementation of the revised Waste Framework Directive, and upcoming policy concerning the ‘circular economy’.

For upcoming changes to HR and employment law, HR Consultant, Tar Tumber, will provide an update on the resulting implications for organisations. Proposed amendments to TUPE legislation will be discussed specifically in relation to service provisions.
