Families invited to enjoy Summer at the Museums

From prehistoric themed crafts and ancient archaeology, to pirate adventures on the high seas and nature-based fun,  choose from over 140 low-cost or FREE family events taking place in Cambridge from now until 3 September.

Venues include: The Fitzwilliam Museum, Kettle's Yard,  Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, Whipple Museum of the History of Science, Cambridge University Botanic Garden, The Polar Museum, Museum of Zoology, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, and the Museum of Classical Archaeology.

With a mix of hands-on activities, events and trails for children of all ages, Summer at the Museums offers plenty for you and the family to enjoy throughout the summer holidays.

Explore the world of Dinosaurs at Ely Museum, learn more about climate change at the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology, join the Strong Women circus scientists performance at the Fitzwilliam Museum; or become a Science Detective with a day of activities based across the University of Cambridge Museums.

With more than 140 drop-in and bookable activities to choose from, plus tips and advice about how to get the most out of each visit, you'll have everything needed to plan a fun filled summer in Cambridge and its surrounding areas.
