Embedded systems training specialists Feabhas have announced that they will be a key sponsor for the 2014 UK Device Developers’ Conference and will be presenting a half-day workshop on the ARM Cortex-M architecture.
The Device Developers' Conference is an event for engineers and programmers working to develop intelligent systems and devices. Taking place during May and June 2014, this event will be a one-day conference, to be run in Cambridge, Bristol, Manchester and Scotland and will include half-day technical workshops, a vendor exhibition and a program of technical presentations.
Feabhas is a recognised leader in the training of software engineers for realtime and embedded systems, and is also an ARM Accreditation Training Partner (AATP). Feabhas's clients include many of the world's leading technology companies, whose staff regularly attend Feabhas training courses. The range of courses available at Feabhas includes subjects such as C/C++, Embedded Linux, Embedded Windows, UML, Android and Embedded Java.
"We are very pleased to be supporting this important UK engineering event," said Jo Cooling, Marketing Manager at Feabhas. "The UK is a world leader in the development of realtime software and embedded systems, and the Device Developers' Conference provides an important opportunity for our industry to come together to discuss new technologies, explore new approaches to development and to gain new knowledge."
Niall Cooling, Managing Director at Feabhas (pictured above) will be presenting a half-day tutorial entitled “Embedded programmers’ guide to the ARM Cortex-M architecture”.This workshop will look at the many useful features added to the Cortex-M that makes it a truly excellent target environment for the embedded software engineer.
“We have been training embedded software engineers in languages and architectures for the last 15 years,” said Niall Cooling. “For the last decade we have been using ARM based target systems, and more recently the Cortex-M for the languages and Cortex-A for Linux. This workshop will cover such topics as the Cortex-M’s core features, the Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard (CMSIS), debugging and RTOS support.”
