Festive family fun on offer at Metro Bank

On Sunday (8 December), Metro Bank, known for its exceptional customer service, will be holding free Christmas crafts events across 70 of its stores, including its branch at Christ's Lane, Cambridge, CB2 3BZ.

Festivities will kick off at 12:00 until 16:00 and the whole family, as well as pets, are invited.

Kids will be able to decorate their very own seasonal stocking ready for Christmas. Metro Man, the bank’s mascot, will also be making an appearance, complete with his Santa hat on.

Ian Walters, Managing Director of Retail and Business Banking at Metro Bank says: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our Christmas event again this year, where all the family are welcome. Metro Bank stores act as a real community hub, hosting a range of charity fundraisers and business networking events for local residents and businesses throughout the year. The bank also offers schools and local groups its free financial education programme Money Zone, which has already been delivered to more than 100,000 children across the UK.

Metro Bank will be holding a kids’ stocking s‘Elf’ie competition where one lucky winner will receive a bumper pack full of Metro Bank goodies. Metro Bank recently achieved the top spot in the CMA’s Service Quality Survey(1) for the second time running. As you’d expect from a bank built around service and convenience, its 70 stores are open on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve.
