A few places still available for Norwich tour with ICE

What could be better than a Sunday morning walk along the river Wensum in Norwich? A free guided walk has been arranged by the Institution of Civil Engineers(ICE) next Sunday (24th) from 10.45am and members of the public are welcome.

The walk is part of ICE’s bicentenary celebrations. It offers a unique opportunity to take a tour with an experienced engineer and gain an insight into the significance of civil engineering and infrastructure and learn about the history of Norwich's bridges. The two mile walk starts at Norwich Station and should take an hour to complete.

Public parking is available in Rose Lane multi-storey car park, the surface car park on Rouen Road or there is some on street parking. There are buses to the station from the city centre, service numbers 5A, 5B, 23A and 25.

The walk is limited to 20 people so early booking is recommended by visiting the events section at www.ice.org.uk/eastofengland or this direct link.:  https://www.ice.org.uk/events/walk-along-the-river-wensum-in-norwich
