:Based on the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, by Jane Hawking, The Theory of Everything is screened as a celebration of Stephen Hawking’s life and incredible legacy.

Stephen was a much valued customer of The Light Cinema over the years and we really wanted to pay tribute to his life and achievements.”

Throughout his inspirational life Professor Hawking played a vital role in raising awareness of motor neurone disease locally and around the world. We are delighted to be chosen by The Light Cinema as a local charity to receive all the funding from this screening. Our branch is run entirely by volunteers who rely on local supporters to raise funds in order to help its members with practical items and other needs.”
