Welcoming all from 5pm to 10:30pm on Thursday 19th, 12 noon to 3:00pm and 5:00pm until 10:30pm on Friday 20th, and 12 noon to 10:30pm on Saturday 21st, real ale and cider lovers can look forward to over British ales, ciders and foreign beers.
Entry is free on Friday lunchtime, and free for CAMRA and CURAS members at all times. Otherwise, entrance is £3.00 for the session.
The Cambridge Winter Ale Festival had a brief outing in 1986, before starting its current run in 1997. For the 21st Cambridge Winter Ale Festival, its mascot, Porter the Penguin and his friend Stout are having a bit of a party and enjoying a beer or two. This is the fifth and last in the series of specially designed logos created exclusively for the festival. Apart from adorning the website, he will also be featured on the festival glasses and the posters, so keep an eye out for him in your local pub.
As always, CAMRA beer festivals are run entirely by volunteers, and the organisation can always do with more. Feel free to speak to any volunteer on the day,
or visit http://www.cambridgebeerfestival.com/waf to sign up.
