First call for proposals: Interreg North-West Europe Programme 2014-2020

The first call under the new Interreg North-West Europe Programme has been launched, with a deadline for concept notes of 18th May 2015.

 

The Interreg North-West Europe Programme will fund cooperative projects delivering lasting results and focusing on the following priorities and specific objectives:

Innovation

  • To enhance innovation performance of enterprises throughout North-West Europe regions


Low carbon

  • To facilitate the implementation of low-carbon, energy and climate protection strategies in order to reduce GHG-emissions in North-West Europe
  • To facilitate the uptake of low carbon technologies, products, processes and services in sectors with high energy saving potential in order to reduce GHG-emissions in North-West Europe
  • To facilitate the implementation of transnational low-carbon solutions in transport systems in order to reduce GHG-emissions in North-West Europe


Resource and material efficiency

  • To optimise (re)use of material and natural resources in North-West Europe

The programme is open to any public or private entity based in the following eligible areas: UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France (partly), Germany (partly), the Netherlands (partly) and Switzerland.


Applications
The application process involves two stages – submission of concept notes and then full applications.

The deadlines for concept notes in 2015 are:

  • 1st call – 18th May 2015
  • 2nd call – 30th November 2015

Projects must involve at least three partners from at least three different countries and at least two of the partners must come from the programme area. The Lead Partners must be from the programme area and be not-for-profit.
