The new service will boost Cornwall’s tourist industry giving the 11million people living in the Stansted catchment area across London and the East of England convenient and direct access to the Cornish coastline which is one of the mildest and sunniest climates in the country.
Commenting on the launch of this new service Commercial Director at Stansted Airport Mats Sigurdson said: “We’re delighted to welcome Newquay back onto the flight schedules at Stansted and to increase our connections across the UK. It’s also important link for the half a million people living in Cornwall who now have direct access to over 170 destinations across Europe and North Africa from Stansted.
