Focus is on employees at Mental Health and Wellbeing Showcase

An event on World Mental Health Day next week (Thursday 10th October) will focus on mental health, wellbeing and ways to maximise employee health in every sense of the word.

The ONE Group, in partnership with Mind CPSL, Howes Percival, Cambridge Network and a number of other subject specialists have come together for the next iteration of last year's successful Mental Health and Wellbeing Showcase. It takes place at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel (Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Kingfisher Way, Huntingdon, PE29 6FL) from 8am to 1pm.   As well as talks by expert speakers, there will be a wide range of relevant exhibitors at the event for attendees to meet.

Across the UK, mental health problems in the workplace cost the economy approximately £70 billion annually, with a staggering 91 million working days lost due to symptoms of mental illness (forbes.com). To help combat this, the UK Government has committed to spending an extra £2bn a year on NHS mental health services by 2023 (mind.org.uk). For now, this remains a key issue for the general population and employers alike, as many suffer in silence.

Don't miss this free event if you have been tasked with implementing a wellbeing strategy,  you’re looking to improve the wellbeing of your employees,  or you would simply like to understand how to approach the subject of mental health.

On the day donations will be given to CPSL Mind charity.
