Focus on finance for SMEs at Breakfast Networking tomorrow

Breakfast networking tomorrow (Thursday) morning could make all the difference to you and your business! Come along to the next Cambridge Network session for SMEs, focused on financial issues, and find out about grant funding, common tax pitfalls, and the requirement for employers to report PAYE in real time, as of this coming April.

From 8-10 am at The Hauser Forum, (The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0GT) you can enjoy networking with your peers and learn more through short presentations from fellow members who specialise in financial matters, including:

  • Alex Smeets, Cambridge Funding Solutions (Grant funding for small businesses: what’s out there and how do you get it?)
  • Carole Randall, Anglia Ruskin University (Low Carbon KEEP funding programme)
  • Charles Olley, Head of Tax Consulting & Chris Hammond, Tax Consulting Price Bailey (Common tax pitfalls for SMEs: exploring 20 tax issues small businesses face in 20 minutes)
  •  Mark Morton, Director, Human Capital, Ernst & Young LLP (PAYE in real time)

The event, aimed particularly at smaller businesses with less than 50 staff, is open to all Network members. A nominal fee of £10 helps Cambridge Network to cover its costs.
