Why are we doing this?
- 50% of young people we've surveyed locally say they don't know about opportunities available within 10 miles of their home.
- Young people from lower-income backgrounds are 27% less likely to access work experience than their more advantaged peers.
- 64% of young people miss out on vital work experience altogether.
- Young people who have at least four meaningful employer encounters are 86% less likely to become NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).
