This year has seen considerable interest in the Free Rein event management and communications platform from organisations such as Government Digital Services, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, and the Motorola Group.
The Business Event Finder service has proven particularly popular with face-to-face event organisers where over 30 new events having been added each day, plus dozens of new event organisers getting accredited each month.
The specialist Free Rein virtual event system is also proving a hit; particularly with some international customers, with 1000’s of press, channel partners, resellers and system integrators, all being able to participate in product launch events and corporate briefings from the comfort of their own offices.
Commenting on the last 12 months, Tony Addison, the commercial director at Free Rein said “Free Rein seems to be a net beneficiary of the more austere times we are living though. Contracts which would previously have only been available to larger IT organisations are now starting to be offered to
smaller organisation such as ours. People are starting to value the nimble, robust, value for money services smaller companies can deliver. ”
However all of the interest in the Free Rein events management platform has had a big impact on the technical team and Free Rein will be looking to add two new people to the team in early 2013.
Tony added “Free Rein like many employers has held back from recruiting during 2012, however, looking into 2013 we can see great opportunities and want to make sure we have the technical team in place ready to exploit all of the projects that come our way. Whoever we take on will need to be up for a bit of travelling and will certainly need an up to date passport”
