Free Rein launches EU project website

Free Rein Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of the new ACCSEAS project website and social media presence. ACCSEAS is a three-year project supporting improved maritime access to the North Sea region through minimising navigational risk.

With European transport policy providing a shift to seaborne transport, using Short Sea Shipping to avoid road bottlenecks to the movement of goods, services and people, efficient and effective marine navigation services have never been more important.

Approved and part-funded by EU’s INTERREG IVB North Sea Region Programme as a transnational project, key navigation authorities and maritime administrations supporting ACCSEAS have come together to deliver the project from Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Commenting on the project, Jeff Hume from Free Rein Ltd said “We are pleased at how quickly the ACCSEAS work has come together. We look forward to working with the project team over the coming months to ensure they make best use of their new website and social media platforms. With so many project partners spread across Europe good communication is critical to their success”.

In delivering the ACCSEAS websites, Free Rein worked with one of its design partners Trebuchet Design to come up with the creative design input with Free Rein providing the underlying website technology.

Free Rein Ltd has worked on a number of European Regional Development Fund and EU Interreg Programmes including projects such as the Answer Project, Floodcom Project and the Low Carbon Freight Dividend Project.
