Freedom of speech debate being live streamed at Cambridge TV

Join Cambridge TV on Wednesday (20 June) at 8pm when the team live streams a debate about freedom of speech. This is an opportunity to see Facebook Live in action as well as to discuss the topic.

The debate will cover issues such as:

  • Should you say what you think regardless of the consequences?
  • Are people using identity politics to frustrate free speech in cultural denial?
  • By enforcing human rights, are we not just taking away rights from others, so nobody wins in the end?

The debate is being broadcast on the Facebook group The Cabinet – a UK politics closed group. If you request to join the group you can watch the debate as it happens and submit your comments to the panel.

Ibrahim Rahman is moderating and the participants will represent a cross-section of views. This is an opportunity to see Facebook Live in action as well as to discuss the topic.
