'Future farming – technologists' fantasy or grower game-changer?'

Dr Belinda Clarke, Director of Agri-Tech East, will be talking about the future of farming at a seminar in Cambridge University's Department of Land Economy next week.

 

All are welcome on Wednesday (March 2nd) from 16:00-17:00  at the Mill Lane Lecture Rooms, Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX.

Agri-Tech East aims to bring together farmers and growers with scientists, technologists and entrepreneurs to create a global innovation hub in agri-tech.  As well as heading up the organisation,  Dr Belinda Clarke MA (Cantab) PhD FRSB CBiol. NSc is a member of BBSRC Council and a Trustee of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.

She has a PhD in plant biochemistry from the John Innes Centre and is a Nuffield Scholar and Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology.  She has also worked in a number of prestigious tech incubators and on biotech strategy.
