GCP plans briefing webinars on local projects

The Greater Cambridge Partnership's (GCP's) consultation on the Waterbeach to Cambridge project is currently open. Normally it would be holding public exhibitions where the public would be able to express their views on these plans. However, the Covid-19 outbreak means that cannot happen, so the GCP is planning a series of other communication exercises.

Its first webinar is this Wednesday (11 November) from 6pm onwards. Alongside the Waterbeach to Cambridge consultation, the Project Manager, Paul van de Bulk, will be giving an update on other projects in north Cambridge – the ongoing Histon Road improvement works, plans for Milton Road and the Waterbeach Greenway.

To register in advance for this meeting, please click this link - https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_OItLDWfsT5KhEnh9ylpblg

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

The second GCP webinar is on Monday 16 November from 6pm to 8pm and will be in a new format – where people can meet the team one-to-one to ask specific questions about the project. Ten minute minute slots will be allocated for people to register for a discussion with the team and these will be confirmed on a first-come first-served basis.

To register and book a slot, please email contactus@greatercambridge.org.uk and specify which area of the project you are interested in, so the team can make sure you speak to the person best placed to answer your question.

Finally, on Tuesday 1 December the GCP team will be live on Twitter between 6pm and 7pm to answer questions about the project. If you have a question you would like to submit in advance, please email  contactus@greatercambridge.org.uk

The consultation is open until midday on Monday 14 December so please let the GCP know your views on this project by filling out the survey at https://consultcambs.uk.engagementhq.com/w2c-consultation-2020
