Get Brexit ready with free legal drop in sessions this Friday

Cambridge employers with EU nationals among their staff can find out how they might be affected by changes to the immigration landscape post Brexit at a free drop-in clinic from law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper on Friday 13 December.

Having followed every twist and turn of Brexit since the referendum result was announced in June 2016, Penny Evans, an Associate Director from Penningtons Manches Cooper’s immigration team, will be on hand to advise on all issues to do with Brexit and immigration, including how right to work checks will work post Brexit, answering questions regarding settled status and how immigration arrangements might work in a no deal scenario.

Whether the UK leaves the EU on the scheduled date of 31 January or not, it’s vital that employers are prepared, says Penny. “We don’t yet know if this date will be extended and whether we are leaving with a deal or without one. What we do know though is that employers should be preparing for every eventuality.”

Appointments are available either in person or by phone. Contact Rebecca Tobin to book a place or for further information.
