To win this resource, businesses need to complete an Open to Export Action Plan and then submit it to the competition for a chance to win up to £3,000 funding to implement the action plan with additional UKTI support.
Open to Export is an online community helping UK businesses get ready to sell overseas. Backed by Government and business, they are a not for profit social enterprise dedicated to helping UK companies grow through export.
The Action plan takes businesses through the ‘5 steps to export’, which are:
- Am I ready to export?
- Which product should I export?
- Where should I export to?
- How will I cover the additional costs?
- How will I make a profit?
The deadline for submitting an Export Action Plan to the competition is Friday 18th December 2015.
