Go Glass goes from strength to strength

2018 just keeps getting better and better for Go Glass, celebrating its 40th anniversary with the opening of a new Glass Design Studio on Cherry Hinton Road in Cambridge.

The company has also launched a dynamic and interactive new website which allows customers to design their own glass doors and showers. To top this,it has just been shortlisted for Glass Company of the Year at the upcoming G18 awards to be held at the end of this month at the Park Lane Hilton.

The family owned and run company enjoys a great reputation for quality and service and comes from a long line of artists and engineers, the family's great grandfather's company ran in Devonshire Road in Cambridge from 1926 – 2011. Having traced their ancestry back to Edward Hodges Baily - who carved Nelson in Trafalgar Square - they feel that it is this mix of inherited skills which allow them to realise the versatility and ethereal beauty of glass in their work.

The small team of 14 is based on site and encourages customers to drop into the studio and see the craftsmen at work. They have been featured at a number of exhibitions around Europe, including Hampton Court Palace and Chelsea Flower Shows, and their work can be seen at prestigious hotels, restaurants and airports around the UK.
