Passengers can now travel between the centre of Cambridge and the capital for as little as £13 for a Weekend Day Return, which is a saving of 24.9%.
Leisure travellers from Cambridge can now enjoy an easy day out in the capital, with cheaper train travel to London Liverpool Street. The central London station is in walking distance of some amazing things to do; whether it's exploring the wares on offer at Old Spitalfields market, experiencing local culture with a Shoreditch Street Art Tour, sampling a curry on Brick Lane or taking a picturesque walk to London Bridge. With the new fares offering weekend travel from as little as £13 for a day return, Greater Anglia has taken the stress out of a weekend day trip, with new low cost travel. Also, for travellers who know when they want to visit London, an Off-Peak Advance Single fare with Greater Anglia costs just £7.
The new fares make Greater Anglia the cheapest way to travel between the two cities, with the new lower fares available across all ticket types, including Weekday Peak tickets, Off-Peak tickets and 7-Day Weekly Travelcard Season tickets.
The fare cuts are part of Greater Anglia’s commitment to its passengers, ensuring they can travel easily and at good value between two of the UK’s most popular cities.
