Greenwoods GRM sponsors Cambridgeshire Town Bumps

Greenwoods GRM LLP is delighted to announce sponsorship of the Cambridgeshire Rowing Association (CRA) ‘Town Bumps’ for the 150th anniversary.

Greenwoods GRM is committed to supporting initiatives within the communities it operates.  ‘Town Bumps’ encapsulates many aspects of the Greenwoods GRM’s approach including dedication and team work to ensure a great result is achieved.

This year the unique rowing event will take place on  17- 20 July 2018 following an anniversary dinner on 14 July.

Robert Dillarstone, Managing Partner at Greenwoods GRM, said: “We are very pleased to support this well-established Cambridge tradition, especially on its 150th anniversary. As a now well-established law firm in Cambridge it is great to be part of something synonymous with the city.”

The aim of the race is for each of the boats to try and ‘bump’ the competition in front of them by over taking them on the narrow river. The River Cam is a narrow and windy river which makes ‘bumping’ competition the only way to race down it.

Bill Key, President of the Cambridge Rowing Association, said: “Greenwoods GRM has given us great support over their last four years of sponsorship. We are grateful and can’t wait to celebrate with them at the anniversary dinner in July.”
