For anyone who doesn't know: the Medical Device industry is booming and by 2017, it is anticipated that the global medical device market will approach US$434.4 billion, an annual average growth of 7.1% from 2012.
Greer Deal, Director of Global Regulatory Services, is delighted to be chairing this evening event in London on Thursday 20th March 2014: "It's a great opportunity to listen to the experiences of Industry representatives who have 'been there and done it' and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the regulatory similarities and differences are between the different countries and whether there are any key challenges MedTech companies need to address before entering these markets.
"I'm particularly pleased that Dr Neil Adams (Director Operations and Delivery, Medical Devices) of one of the UK's Notified Bodies, the BSI, will also be there. He will be discussing the proposed Medical Device and In-Vitro Diagnostics Regulations due to be effective in 2016. Attendees should achieve a more in-depth understanding of the regulatory burdens in these different countries and hopefully, they will take advantage of the networking afterwards to question the presenters one-to-one and make new connections".
