Hilson Moran is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and in recognition of this, it has launched a series of events and initiatives, one of which is the Cambridge Hackathon, centred on the subject of autonomous vehicles. It takes place at Hilson Moran’s Brookgate offices in Cambridge today (Monday 27th March) from 6pm.
Guests will be divided into teams and will have two hours to creatively brainstorm and present their ideas on how autonomous vehicles and other emerging technologies may be able to resolve the transport and infrastructure issues in Cambridge in the present day and in the next 40 years.
The judging panel features some of Hilson Moran’s specialist teams, including Chris Birch, Head of Sustainability, and Marie-Louise Schembri, Associate Sustainability Consultant. It also includes experts from outside the consultancy such as Dan Clark, the Smart Cambridge Programme Manager.
