Health Analytics launches latest version of award-winning informatics software for the NHS

Health Analytics is pleased to announce the launch of the latest version of its powerful suite of software products, which provide valuable business intelligence to aid service delivery within the NHS, local authorities and social services.

Already used by Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across the UK, Health Analytics software is well known and highly respected for its powerful data collection, integration and warehousing capabilities, bringing together primary care, secondary care and community care data into a single, secure and accessible database.  This information can then be analysed flexibly and rapidly by commissioners, GPs and other healthcare providers to provide insights leading to truly evidence-based decision making.

Company founders Stuart Bond and Phil Wigglesworth have seen the product develop since it was first created in 2009.  Commenting on the most recent release, Phil observes: “We are constantly refining the product in response to customer needs. Our close working relationship with CCGs differentiates us from the competition, and ensures our software is kept relevant and fit for purpose. The NHS landscape is always evolving, and we are keen to stay on top of new thinking and more effective ways of working.”

Stuart Bond, company co-founder, adds: “Ultimately, Health Analytics’ goal is improving outcomes for patients.  No one understands better than we do how important timely and comprehensive information is to effective decision making in healthcare.  Providing an integrated view of patients is more difficult than it may first sound, but we have persevered in our commitment to detail, interoperability and standards.  This sort of commitment often results in taking a very hands-on approach to our business, but the results are worth the effort.”

About Health Analytics (www.health-analytics.co.uk)

Health Analytics joins data from primary, secondary and community sources, to provide an effective basis for managing patient care across service boundaries. This connected information enables commissioners to review activity and trends, leading to significant improvements in healthcare outcomes.

Health Analytics software uses clinical and financial information to help commissioners make more informed decisions about healthcare thus improving patient outcomes.

  • The speed, flexibility and attention to detail that Health Analytics provides means GPs and practice managers can get an accurate overview of their patients' needs at the touch of a button.
  • Health Analytics delivers the ability to see comparative statistics across neighbouring practices, track emerging trends and review financial spend. A clear up to date picture of the health landscape is essential to the efficient running of CCGs.
  • This power to analyse and then co-ordinate appropriate health solutions across whole boroughs and sectors leads to more effective use of resources and healthier patients.

Health Analytics is headquartered in Cambridge, UK, and is still owned and managed by its original founders.  The company is self-funded and has grown revenues and profits organically and consistently every year since its inception.
