Jamie Joint, Business Development Director

Jamie’s role is to head up the business development function with responsibility for growing HEE’s technology advisory business and driving the discovery of innovation from within the NHS.  He has over 15 years’ experience working in the medical device industry building successful sales infrastructure and driving growth on a global scale. Jamie joins HEE from Olympus KeyMed, part of the Olympus group, where he held a number of senior sales and marketing roles.

Joop specialises in health and social care, throughout his career developing an in depth understanding of the interplay between innovation, entrepreneurship, health and financial outcomes, commissioning, service provision and users’ perspectives.

Commenting on the new appointments, Dr Anne Blackwood CEO at HEE, said: “HEE is committed to improving the nation’s health and does so by supporting the development of products and services that meet currently unmet healthcare needs – whether that is from within the NHS or from industry. We are very pleased to welcome Jamie, James and Joop to the team. All three are highly experienced and will contribute to driving the business forward.”
