An update on employment law and business immigration, unrelated to COVID-19, but which all employers need to know
All employers have been inundated since March with all things Covid-19 related and the impact on employees. Because of this (understandable) focus, some employment law changes, including new laws and changes to existing laws, have dropped under employers’ radars, but which all businesses need to know. The employment law team at Hewitsons will talk about these new laws and changes, as well as a brief update on business immigration requirements as 31st December 2020 looms - and promise not to mention Covid-19.

When charity trustees cannot agree…
Just because charity trustees share the same aims and objectives it doesn’t mean they always agree on how to run the charity. Disputes can arise between trustees or with other parties. This seminar will address how to resolve points of conflict, from a fairly straightforward dispute between individuals which can be managed in-house to more difficult areas of conflict and serious incident reporting.

The use classes order changes and permitted development rights and in particular what changes this might precipitate on the High St, possible changes we will see in the retail leasehold sector arising the from the changes to retailing generally and post Covid-19 e.g. pop up shops/Airbnb style arrangements for shops.
