Representing all lawyers across Cambridgeshire, the CLS provides a forum for networking and promoting professional legal services.
This is the second year in a row that the team has received the legal excellence award from the CLS. The team is led by James Lawrence (Head of Corporate) and Bill Thatcher (Head of Technology), both “Leading Individuals” in the Legal 500 Client’s Guide to the Legal Profession 2021.
Charlotte Bull accepted the award on behalf of the team at the virtual ceremony last week and commented: “We were delighted to be recognised for the second year running. Our thanks go out to the CLS Committee for all their hard work on behalf of lawyers in the region. Warm thanks must also go to our loyal clients who bring their corporate and commercial work to the team year after year.
“The Corporate team has a reputation as the "go-to" team for early-stage and developing companies in Cambridge and the Commercial team is a key player when it comes to supporting emerging technologies and global power-players in the online advertising, pharmaceutical, medical device and AI sectors. We have been pleased to see that these markets have been fairly robust over the past 13 months and the team’s continuing success is a result of this.”
