Abbie Wiseman and Jennifer Koch have joined the Newmarket Road office as Solicitors, working with the firm’s Agriculture & Rural Property and Private Wealth teams, respectively.
Both teams have top-tier ratings in the prestigious 2019 Legal 500 guide, which ranks law firms and solicitors based on the results of extensive research, including client feedback interviews. The guide also names several Partners from these teams as ‘leading individuals’ within their respective practice areas.
Abbie brings with her experience in a variety of legal matters, from the acquisition of land for development and sales, and purchases of farms and agricultural land, to property-backed financing for agricultural estates. She has also worked in Commercial Property.

Jennifer has experience with, and will be responsible for, the full range of Private Wealth work, from Wills, Probate and Inheritance Tax to Succession Planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

The appointments follow numerous other additions to Hewitsons’ many specialist teams – across the firm’s offices in Cambridge, London, Milton Keynes and Northampton – over the past two years.
During the past 12 months in particular, the firm has invested more heavily than ever in top legal talent, as well as everything from IT systems to infrastructure.
This has come on the back of record revenue and profit levels, as well as numerous impressive legal successes, some prestigious contract wins and further accolades.
