Hewitsons strengthens its residential practice with new appointment

Law firm Hewitsons is pleased to have further strengthened its residential property team with the appointment of licensed conveyancer Catherine Bolland, based predominately at the firm’s Cambridge office.

Catherine Bolland,

Catherine has experience of all aspects of residential property, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, remortgages, assents and transfers of equity.

The appointment comes at a time of increased activity for the Hewitsons property team as the residential property market sees strong movement despite the current pandemic.

Commenting on her new appointment, Catherine said: “I am very excited to be joining the Hewitsons residential property team at this very busy time and I hope to be an effective ambassador for the firm in the local market.  The current climate remains challenging and it is reassuring to be part of a prestigious and highly regarded team in these times.”

Catherine has over six years’ experience in residential property conveyancing, having studied whilst working as a conveyancing assistant at a regional law firm in Bath. She qualified as a licensed conveyancer in March 2019 before moving Bedfordshire, where she worked at Franklins solicitors in Milton Keynes before joining Hewitsons’ residential property team in February.

Clare Martin, partner and head of the residential property team, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Catherine to Hewitsons’ residential property team as we continue to expand the team.  Catherine joins us from a highly respected legal firm, and she is sure to be a valuable asset to both the team and to Hewitsons.”
