How can SMEs access and exploit graduate talent?

Anglia Ruskin University is inviting SMEs from across the region to take part in a series of Focus Groups looking at how SMEs can recruit, train and support graduate talent for business success.

Scheduled for October 2013, the Focus Groups will feed into the University’s GREATS Programme, a HEFCE (the Higher Education Funding Council for England) funded initiative which aims to increase SME access to graduate talent while also helping graduates acquire the workplace skills they need to flourish in their first job.

GREATS – which will launch this autumn - aims to replicate the in-house graduate trainee scheme by offering SME-tailored services ranging from recruitment to a six-month training course delivered by Anglia Ruskin University.

The Focus Groups will explore the specific needs of SMEs in the context of the GREATS programme, and will be held in Cambridge and Chelmsford. If you are a senior manager in an SME employing 250 staff (or less), and would like to take part in a Focus Group, please contact us on 01223 278958. Experience of employing graduates is not essential.

If you would like more information on the Focus Groups, or on the GREATS programme, please contact GREATS@anglia.ac.uk
