While at the Centre Cllr Brown met the Centres ‘Spread It’ newsletter team who Interviewed him for their forthcoming newsletter, asking him questions such as; why he became mayor, how he’s helping the local disabled community and what his favourite song is (it’s Purple Rain by Prince in case you were wondering!).

Councillor Brown said:

“I was delighted to visit Saxongate and met the ‘Spread It’ newsletter team, answering their questions, as well as receiving John’s amazing painting of Huntingdon High Street. I will proudly display the painting in the Mayor’s Chamber at the Town Hall.”

The team at Saxongate will shortly be visiting the Town Hall for a tour and to see the painting in situ. I look forward to welcoming them.”
