A roundtable was hosted by ICE to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the civil engineering and construction sectors in the run up to Brexit. Touching on a wide range of issues, the meeting was an opportunity for Government to hear first-hand from an industry leader, including members of the ICE-led Brexit Leadership Group.

The Minister said he looked forward to continuing engagement with the sector as the Government gears up to trigger Article 50.

Before leaving the Minister left, he went to see ICE's Guinness World Record-breaking Lego Bridge, the centre piece a Bridge Engineering exhibition which celebrates civil engineers responsible for some of the world's greatest bridges. The exhibition runs until April 2017.
