Impulse is awarded display contract for February roll-out

Impulse Point of Purchase Ltd, a Cambridgeshire based company, has been awarded the contract to create, make and Install Retail Fixturing for DVD and CDs. The contract is to be completed in store by the end of February.

Impulse is delighted to be awarded this business - at a time when the entertainment sector is in disarray, with the demise of HMV and Blockbuster.

The client is a broker for the large film studios, including Warner Bros and Paramount, and with the concentration of physical sales (as opposed to online) these types of projects are becoming more important revenue streams.

The creative work has been done and approved; Impulse is now throwing all its efforts into the production of the units. Next stage will be taking delivery of over 600,000 DVD's, so the units can be filled prior to installation. The units are then sent out on vans, where staff will position them on the shop floor.

The retailer Impulse is delivering to is "The Range" which is an emerging outlet for all homeware products. The programme is covering 70 stores, with a further 10 new stores planned later in 2013.

The styles of units used can be viewed at http://www.impulsepop.co.uk/products.php

Impulse offer a full service for Retail. The units are manufactured in its factory in Sandy, utilising state of the art laser and CNC machinery.
