Inghams launches winter ski and summer programme from Cambridge Airport

Leading UK tour operator, Inghams, has confirmed the launch of its first ever winter ski and summer programme departing from Cambridge Airport, with new weekly flights to Geneva commencing from December 2013. In addition, weekly flights to Milan and Geneva will appear in Inghams’ Lakes & Mountains programme for summer 2014.

As of today, customers in the East of England will be able to book Inghams’ brand new winter ski packages to more than 18 popular resorts, including Courchevel, Meribel and Val d’Isere in France and Crans Montana, Wengen and Verbier in Switzerland, with convenient flights from Cambridge Airport direct to Geneva every Saturday from December to April.

Two new summer routes from Cambridge Airport to Milan and Geneva have also been confirmed as part of Inghams’ new 2014 Lakes and Mountains programme. A variety of seven and 14 night packages, including tours and excursions, will be featured for the popular Lakes Garda, Como and Maggiore in Italy are now available to book; whilst an extensive French and Swiss Alps summer range is also on offer, whether for hiking, cycling, exploring or taking it easy, with flights from Cambridge starting May and continuing throughout the summer season.

The new flights will be operated on a scheduled service by highly regarded Swiss carrier, Darwin Airline. All holidays will feature a generous standard luggage allowance of 23kg per person and complimentary in-flight service. Ski equipment will be carried at no additional charge within the baggage weight allowance.
