Taking place near Cambridge on the 27th and 28th April 2016, HW/Expo will include an exhibition of hardware development tools and technologies, a stream of presentations from industry experts and a series of half day workshops.

IDS was established in 2001 by a team of display industry experts. Over time they have built up a great deal of knowledge about both the technical approach and the user interface approach to designing displays using LCD, TFT and OLED technologies for many applications. IDS have helped develop innovative displays, enabling customers to enhance their products, with some even receiving awards for design and application.

Covering such topics as silicon choice, PCB and circuit design tools, ASIC and FPGA design, test equipment, display technology and reference design platforms, the H/WExpo conference will include a vendor exhibition, a stream of presentations from industry experts and a series of half day workshops. H/WExpo will be co-located with the Device Developers' Conference, an event for engineers that develop solutions based on embedded systems and realtime software.
Attendance at H/WExpo, including the technical presentations, will be free for engineers and technical managers, although there will be a modest charge for places on the half-day workshops. Over 30 technology companies are expected to exhibit at the joint two day conference. There will be 24 expert technical presentations and series of half-day workshops.
