IQGeo BTR Diamond Award win

IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial productivity and collaboration software for the telecoms and utility industries, today announced that its Network Manager software was recognised among the best in the industry by the 2020 Broadband Technology Report's Diamond Technology Reviews. The stellar third-party judging panel included executives from operators such as, Buckeye, Comcast, Charter, Cox, Mediacom, Rogers, Spectrum and Suddenlink, plus well-known industry consultants with vast professional experience.

Network Manager for telecoms received the Honoree Score of four Diamonds out of a possible five with the following category description and judges’ comments:

Excellent product with technical features and performance that provide clear and substantial benefits. “This looks to be a good solution to replace antiquated construction design systems. Looks easy to maintain and easy to use for almost any user.”

“On behalf of the Broadband Technology Report's 2020 Diamond Technology Reviews, I would like to congratulate IQGeo on their 4 Diamonds honoree status,” said Broadband Technology Report's Chief Editor, Stephen Hardy. “This programme recognises and rewards the top products and solutions available to the broadband cable industry. We appreciate all entries we received, though not all were honoured with 3.5 Diamonds or above.”

Network Manager empowers telecoms and utility network operators to reimagine the role geospatial technology plays within their organisation.  Built from the ground up for telecom and utility networks, it replaces complex, centralised, legacy GIS with a flexible, open approach that is simple to deploy and cost-effective to operate. Network Manager accelerates productivity and collaboration by streamlining the planning, design, and construction processes for network operators.

Jay Cadman, General Manager Americas at IQGeo, said: “It is wonderful to be honoured by BTR two years in a row for the quality and innovation of our software solutions. The award for Network Manager is particularly exciting as it is a new product that has been very well received by the market, with initial installations already deployed with customers in North America and Europe. These organisations are realising the benefits that our mobile-first and cloud-first architecture brings to their businesses. Network Manager is optimised for the telecoms industry, helping them dramatically cut planning and design project costs and accelerate time-to-market. It’s excellent to see BTR, such a well-respected publication, recognise our contribution to digital transformation in the telecoms industry.”
