IT Governance now a preferred supplier with ASCL

IT Governance, the leading provider of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) training courses and consultancy, has been officially named a preferred supplier with the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) and is offering a 10% discount on all products and services to its members.

IT Governance will now be ASCL’s official supplier for risk management and compliance solutions, including GDPR and data protection officer (DPO) services and Cyber Essentials accreditation. ASCL is a leading professional body whose 19,000 members are responsible for the education of more than 4 million young people.

Alan Calder, founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “This announcement demonstrates our commitment to supporting the education sector as it tackles cyber resilience. ASCL is a highly credible organisation that’s well regarded within schools, colleges and government and we look forward to sharing our expertise with its members.”

In May, IT Governance announced it was adapting its industry standard solutions to meet the needs of the education sector and launched DPO as a service for schools. The DPO service is a practical and cost-effective solution for schools wanting to outsource this critical role. The service is the first in IT Governance’s portfolio of products and services designed to support the education sector in 2018.
